Passengers can purchase an additional seat to accommodate special seating needs due to personal comfort, size or disability as well as carriage of cabin baggage such as music instrument, valuable or fragile articles.

Extra Seat for Personal Comfort

Reservation

• Extra seats for additional personal space.
• There is no limitation on the number of extra seat to be purchased on each flight.
• 20 kg checked baggage allowance for 1 additional extra seat.

Please contact the Bangkok Airways reservation/call centre prior to departure time and receive the confirmation of your application. There should be a SSR code EXST confirmed on passenger reservation.

Extra Seat for Extra Volume Passenger

Bangkok airways’ seat dimension (width x height) is 40 x 48 cm for ATR72 and 43 x 48 cm for A319/320. Passenger is required to purchase for an additional extra seat if not meet one of the following conditions:

• Must be able to properly fasten the seatbelt, with one extension of necessary.
• Must be able to remain seated with the seat armrest (s) down for the entire flight.
• Must not significantly encroach upon the adjacent seating space.

Reservation

• 2 Seats occupied by one passenger.
• 30 kg checked baggage allowance.

Extra Seat for Cabin Baggage

The following conditions apply for the carriage of cabin baggage on the seat.

• Dimension of cabin baggage shall not exceed the dimension of seat.
• Must be suitably packed with handle for restraining purpose and covered in a manner to avoid possible injury to passenger and Cabin crew.
• Weight must not exceed 73 kg.
• Must be stowed on window seat first and working inwards towards the aisle.
• Must not be stored in an Emergency Exit Row.
• Must be secured by a safety belt to eliminate the possibility of forward, lateral and vertical movement under all normal anticipated flight and ground conditions.
• Must not hamper passenger and crew movement.
• Must not obscure any passenger’s view of the seat belt sign, no smoking sign or required exit sign.
